Come hear what’s cookin’ in the URI Music Dept. as the jazz faculty present an evening of hot tunes and cool grooves: Joe Parrillo, piano, Dave Zinno, bass, Jay Azzolina, guitar, Steve Langone drums, Emmett Goods trombone, Bill Jones, saxes, Mark Berney, trumpet and guest artist Brian Lynch, a trumpeter known for his time playing in Eddie Palmierei’s Latin-Caribbean jazz band as well as jazz legend Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and with pop/rock superstar Prince.
