Hollistic MusicWorks is the record label and creative conduit of Brian Lynch – multiple Grammy® Award winning trumpeter, composer, arranger, bandleader, and educator. Since its inception in 2010, HMW has been “quietly assembling an incredible catalogue” (jazzweekly.com) through hosting Lynch’s own recording projects as well as other artists deserving of respect and recognition. Notable HMW releases by Brian include The Omni-American Book Club, 2019 Grammy® Award winner for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album. the Unsung Heroes series of recordings, recipient of a 5 star masterpiece rating in Downbeat magazine, and the Grammy® nominated Madera Latino – A Latin Jazz Interpretation On The Music Of Woody Shaw recording, voted Record Of The Year in 2017 by the Jazz Journalists Association. HMW’s releases by other artists include the critically acclaimed Naptown Legacy by the late, legendary drummer ‘Killer’ Ray Appleton, the upcoming Tone Twister by brilliant pianist/composer Rob Schneiderman, and Jared Hall’s Hallways, the first release in HMW’s Mentor Series, focusing on emerging artists personally mentored by Lynch.
