Featuring trumpet player, educator and composer Brian Lynch, who has performed with groups as diverse as the Phil Woods Quintet, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers, Eddie Palmieri, and many more. He is also on the jazz faculty at the University of Miami Frost School of Music and in high demand as a performer.

Spend the day on the Missouri State University campus performing and learning with highly respected jazz educators and clinicians. The jazz festival for 2026 will have both competitive and non-competitive tracks and will also provide an educational opportunity to improve the performance level of your jazz groups for other competitive festivals.
- Registration is required and space is limited.
- Categories are available for your high school big bands and jazz combos.
- Each group will perform for a panel of jazz clinicians and receive an interactive clinic immediately following their performance.
