Jazz at Jackson builds on the Miami Jazz Cooperative’s five-year success of its lunchtime Jazz in the Gables concert series and brings it to the tens of thousands healthcare workers, patients, and patient families who work and visit every day in the Miami Health District. The primary goal of the concert series is to give the healthcare community a brief respite from the daily stress of their lives and, through this experience, broaden the audience for jazz, the only original American art form.
